On March 3, 2024, our team organized a show for the brand IPK Disinger, where designer Patimat Isaeva presented her new collection to the guests of the show: from basic men's suits to evening and wedding women's looks. National costumes of Dagestan were also presented. A young man in a white outfit with a papakha on his head and next to him a girl in white — it was precisely in such images of times past that the groom and bride were dressed in the Caucasus.
The show was held in a banquet hall. Our team's task was to transform the hall for the show according to the given theme, and we transformed the hall beyond recognition. We covered most of the hall with white six-meter walls, which were decorated with live trees. Trees on both sides of the hall, five meters tall, their branches spanned almost the entire hall. The ceiling structure was decorated with flowers, and live flowers were placed on the floor and along the sides of the runway. The entrance to the hall was decorated with 12-meter pieces of velvet fabric.
The event began with a mountain dance — a battle between two highlanders for a mountain woman — and the reading of a symbolic poem about respect for a girl in the Caucasus. "In the past, in the Caucasus, a girl could stop a bloody war by simply removing the scarf from her head: men, holding sabers in their hands, would stop and lower their gaze upon seeing a girl's uncovered head." In the Caucasus, a girl is first and foremost a mother, a wife, a daughter, and respect for a girl is above all. After the dance, accompanied by a live orchestra, 42 models came out in different looks. A total of 74 looks were presented. At the end of the event, all guests received commemorative gifts and were invited to a buffet reception.
